Who we are

The National Consumer Association (NCA) has been a champion of underrepresented consumers nationwide since 2001. A nonprofit organization, the NCA focuses on advocacy and education which empowers Consumers. This allows dispute resolution services and assist SME businesses and individuals who are seeking to resolve disputes through their bespoke Consumer Resolution Scheme.

Under the Consumer Protection Act 2016, as amended the NCA is a recognized consumer body for the purposes of referring cases to the Ministry of Consumer Affairs and onwards to the Consumer Commission and Tribunal.

  • ‘The National Consumers Association (Saint Lucia) Inc. may make a complaint to the Department on behalf of a consumer”

What we do

NCA maintains its status as an independent advocate providing expert commentary on key consumer concerns and current marketplace issues affecting consumers in St Lucia. Over the years, NCA has developed relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers.

The NCA is pleased to be able to offer St Lucians affordable access and advice via our Helpdesk, consisting of individuals who have experience in consumer-related disputes, in this challenging COVID-19 era. 

The organization educates those needing help to understand their options and in communicating with suppliers.
